Question:
Who arranges for the ceremony?
Answer:
You do. We have the beautiful location, you must arrange your own wedding
service, music etc. We can provide you with a list of services and very
fine clergy & JP's familiar with Villa Capri.

Where is the reception held?

Adjoining Villa Capri Restaurant is an old European-style country lodge
with lovely patio & gardens overlooking Clear Lake. This is called Casa
Mia

Smaller
gatherings are held in the upstairs banquet rooms with large balcony &
marvelous view.
Question:
What does Villa Capri On Clear Lake provide for weddings receptions and
parties?
Answer:
We're in the food business. We provide all white linen, cloth napkins
white china, stainless tableware, etc., all servers, setup & cleanup
people. We want you to just come & enjoy your own party.
Question:
Who provides table centerpieces and flowers?
Answer:
You do. We find everyone has their own personal preferences.
However, keep it simple. Casa Mia is such a beautiful place it's not necessary
to embellish with elaborate decorating. A floating candle on each table
or single flower in a bud vase is lovely.
Question:
What are guests allowed to throw at the bride & groom as they leave?
Answer:
Guests can throw birdseed, bubbles, and rose petals. We do not allow throwing
rice or anything from a spray can.
Question:
Being on the water, can the bride & groom arrive and/or leave by boat?
Answer:
Yes, this is very popular. There are two very fine hotels just minutes
away by water. You just have to be sure the boat you rent has a shallow
keel. The lake is only about 4 feet deep at the end of the pier.

How long do weddings & receptions last?
Answer:
We find 3 ½ to 4 hours is more than enough time for weddings &
receptions If longer than 4 hours there is an additional hourly charge.
Question:
Does this include setup time?
Answer:
We allow about 2 hours for setup. This is not included in the actual time
of your event. If possible, we will work with you if you need more time.
Question:
When can we have our wedding rehearsal?
Answer:
The best time is about 5 pm on the day prior to your wedding.
Following the rehearsal, many families stay and have the rehearsal dinner
at Villa Capri. We have several menu options, to fit budgets be they lean
or lenient.

Capri dining room, semi-privacy:
If you are on a budget and privacy is not a factor, we can accommodate
your party in the restaurant dinning room. We suggest pre-selecting
two to four entrees from either our Early Bird Fixed Price menu (available
from 11am to 6pm) or from the regular dinner menu.
At no extra charge, we make personalized menus, less prices, for guests
to order from. The menus are printed on special paper, befitting the occasion;
The menus make great mementos.

If you prefer privacy, parties over 45 people are held in Casa Mia and for
groups under 45 people we have an upstairs banquet room with large
balcony. We have both Buffet & Full service menus for you to choose from.
